(WMC-TV) - New allegations surfaced Thursday against long-time Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork, who is already facing sexual harassment claims and a domestic violence investigation.

A sheriff's office employee who claims she was repeatedly subjected to sexual harassment shared her story in hopes others will speak out.

"I've forgiven him a long time ago, but I'll never forget," said the employee who wished to keep her real name secret.

It is too late to file a sexual harassment complaint against Woolfork, but this woman said it is something she endured while working for him.

"He had me meet him at a motel room, a sleazy motel ... And he had sex with me," she said.

She fears retaliation for talking and said she put up with unwanted advances and other things in order to provide for her family.

"Jobs are just not, especially jobs that pay like the sheriff's department pays, they are just not out there," she said. "I would hope that he would resign, and I would hope he would be punished for what he's done ... There are a lot of good employees there, and they deserve to work in a good environment with a good sheriff.

This woman has been interviewed by a Nashville attorney currently investigating the claims of two other sheriff's office employees on behalf of the Madison County Commission, which could eventually take action against the sheriff.

The domestic violence investigation surrounding Woolfork involves an admitted mistress who recently won a restraining order against him.

The sheriff referred the Action News 5 Investigators to his attorney Mark Donahoe. Donahoe said it was difficult to respond to a vague allegation, but he added all of the allegations thus far have had a "political element."
