FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - A Kentucky State University student is facing some serious charges after he is accused of paying another student to pick up some drugs in another state for him.

According to the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, Evan Johnson, 23, asked another KSU student, who was traveling to Detroit for his grandmother's funeral, to meet up with ‘his girl' and bring back a package for him.

Officers stopped the Greyhound bus the man was returning on and found several prescription drugs. Officers set up a sting and busted Johnson on KSU's campus when he paid the man for the package.
