Police respond to prowler call, find one person critically shot

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Memphis police are searching for a second suspect after an attempted break-in and shooting.

Police say a man was at his home in the 3400 block of Brutonwood Cove, near Knight Road and Winchester Road, when he heard glass break.

He found two suspects entering his home, feared for his life and shot at them.

When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old shot a few streets down from the attempted break-in. The teen was transported to the MED in critical condition.

The second suspect was last seen running from the scene.
