(WMC-TV) - A van overturned on an slick overpass Friday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m. a van traveling on Warford Street landed on its side after a collision involving two other vehicles.

The van flipped over with passengers inside. One person in the accident was transported to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Memphis police officers set up barricades blocking the way to that overpass to keep drivers away from the crash scene.

While guarding the bridge, one officer was struck by a motorist. The motorist allegedly rammed a police car head on hitting the police officer who was standing outside of the car.

An officer on the scene said the driver would be tested for a DUI, as it was obvious he was under the influence.

Another multi-vehicle crash Friday called for the attention of police at Austin Peay and James roads where several cars struck a wall.
