Germantown opens superintendent interviews to public

GERMANTOWN, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Germantown is set to interview three candidates to head its municipal school district and the public is invited.

The prospects for superintendent are set to be interviewed next week and a school board member tells Action News 5 that anyone can attend the interviews.

The first public interview will happen on Tuesday, December 17, in the Municipal Center Council Chambers. The board will interview Shelby County Schools Regional Superintendent Dr. Lee-Ann Kight.

The next day on Wednesday, December 18, Tullahoma Schools Superintendent Dr. Dan Lawson will be interviewed in the Great Hall and Conference Center Media Room.

On Thursday, December 19, the board will interview Houston Middle School Principal Mr. Jason Manuel. That interview will be held in the Great Hall and Conference Center Media Room.

The interviews are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. each day.
