NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man is in jail for allegedly pulling a gun on a woman because she refused to buy him beer.

It happened in the parking lot of the Kwik Sak gas station on Clarksville Pike and South Hamilton Road.

Police say Roderius Williams approached the woman when she got out of her car and asked her to buy beer and cigars for him.

When she refused, Williams allegedly became irate and started screaming at the woman.

She says Williams went back to his car, got something from his trunk and stuck it into his pants.

She says he approached her again and pulled out a gun. That's when she ran inside and called 911.

Williams jumped into his car and drove away, but the woman gave police a description of the car.

Police later found that car with Williams and three others inside. WIlliams was arrested.
