COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

It's a new year, and a great resolution is to help the pets at Columbus Animal Care and Control find homes. We thrilled to report that six of the pets we featured last time have been adopted or placed with rescue groups. Two of the cats (Tag 395 and Tag 59) are still available for adoption at the shelter.

Here's a look at just a few of the pets looking for a forever home:

Tag 372 is an adult female mixed breed dog with black and brown fur. This sweet-natured and calm girl will be a wonderful addition to any home.

Tag 315 is an adult male domestic shorthaired brown Tabby cat. He's a calm and loving cat that deserves to be part of a family.

Tag 99 is an adult female brown and white bulldog. She loves to have her ears scratched and promises a lifetime of kisses and gratitude for rescuing her.

Tag 380 is an adult female domestic shorthaired diluted tortoiseshell cat who is playful and curious. Shee deserves to be part of a family and forever home.

For more information on how you can help these deserving pets find a home, visit Columbus Animal Care and Control at 4910 Milgen Road or call them at (706) 653-4512. You can also visit their official website
