A fire broke out Sunday afternoon in Hazel Green, requiring the services of four local fire crews.

The fire was reported around 2 p.m. along McKenzie Drive. What started as a grass fire moved into two structures: a garage and a storage shed, destroying them. Two mobile homes were spared. About five acres of land were burned.
