MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A man who is accused of tattooing his name on two women to claim them as his own property was indicted on aggravated kidnapping and sex trafficking charges.

According to the district attorney's office, Willie Travis Griggs, 34, held a 22-year-old woman captive in his home after she spent the night.

The woman told investigators that he forcibly tattooed his nickname, "Veno", on her neck and chest. She said he also forced her to work as a prostitute for several days, then took the money she was paid. She called police on June 6 after she was able to escape.

Investigators later identified another woman who said Griggs tattooed his name on her leg and forced her to work as a prostitute for seven months. She said he advertised her services on social media websites.
