MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Dozens of women showed up at Rock Church located at Ross Road and Raines Road for the Faith and Fitness Challenge. They received meal plans, workouts, coaching and much more.

The six-month challenge will also give them the chance to build lasting relationships and even a chance to win $1,000.

Professional trainer Tika Collins says it's about getting women in shape and helping them take their lives back.

She said, "Being a native of Memphis, Tennessee, I definitely feel we need this in our community. I feel a lot of women suffer from obesity. A lot of women suffer from lack of education of not knowing how to eat right or exercise."

Women had access to medical experts to discuss health and wellness, along with a dietician.

A spiritual and fitness coach was also on hand to help them with their goals.
