SHELBY COUNTY, TN -

(WMC-TV) – A judge ordered Bartlett cemetery owner Jemar Lambert jailed without bond during a hearing Thursday morning.

The judge decided to keep him in jail because of the seriousness of the charges against him. Lambert has previously been out on bond on charges of theft of property over $60,000.

He is accused of selling burial plots on adjacent land that didn't belong to him and of burying multiple bodies in the same grave.

Action News 5's Lauren Squires is talking with family members who have loved ones buried in Galilee Memorial Gardens about this new development. See her report tonight at 5 p.m.
