3 firefighters treated for smoke inhalation after late night fire

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Memphis fire investigators are working to determine what caused a fire at Kruger Products K.T.G. (USA) Inc.

Investigators say the fire at 400 Mahannah Avenue started around 11:30 Saturday night.

When crews arrived, smoke could be seen pouring from the building. Crews got the fire under control around 1:30 Sunday morning.

Three firefighters were taken to Methodist University Hospital and The MED to be treated for smoke inhalation. No one else was injured.

Investigators said the building did have a sprinkler system.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
