MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - What appeared to be suicide when investigators first arrived on Union University's campus in Jackson, Tenn., is now believed to be murder.

Olivia Greenlee, a 2010 Dyersburg High School graduate, was found dead inside her car in a parking lot on Wednesday, February 12.

Investigators say evidence shows that Greenlee was shot late Tuesday night. They say the person who shot her then staged the crime scene to make it look like a suicide.

Greenlee's fiance, Charles Pittman, is now under arrest and charged with first degree murder, as well as tampering with evidence.

Her friends and family packed First Baptist Church, where she was a member, Sunday to remember a life cut short.

"Type of kid when you walk into class, you're just happy to be a teacher and happy to have them in class," said Dyersburg City Schools Director Neel Durbin, who taught Olivia Greenlee in high school. "You teach thousands of students in a career that spans some 30 years and Olivia isn't one you'll forget."

The 21-year-old was a music education major at Union University in Jackson, Tenn. Greenlee was part of the Union University Singers, as well as a member of Zeta Tau Alpha.

"Sometimes you wonder when you go home what you could've done differently," said Durbin. "It's senseless, but, what do you do?"

Charles Pittman is scheduled to face a judge Tuesday at 8 a.m.
