BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - An East Tennessee sheriff says his department will be featured in a National Geographic Channel documentary.
Sullivan County Sheriff Wayne Anderson told the Kingsport Times News (http://bit.ly/1jN1TbW) that filming for the show began in December and wrapped up this month.
Anderson says he is "tickled to death" about his department being chosen to participate in the series. He says he thinks the show will help improve the county's economy and feature the area's natural beauty. Anderson said he has been assured the county will be portrayed in a positive light.
The series doesn't have a title yet and the air date hasn't been announced.
