GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - A 33-year-old man arrested on counterfeiting charges in Biloxi has pleaded not guilty to passing bogus money.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1hkdZty ) William Oliver Coleman Sr. is set for trial on a federal court calendar that starts April 7.
He has been in custody since his Aug. 3 arrest by Biloxi police on counterfeiting charges. Records show he also was wanted on a fugitive warrant on a felony drug charge in Mobile County.
A federal grand jury indicted him on two counterfeiting charges in January.
Coleman allegedly was passing counterfeit $10, $20, $50 and $100 bills in Biloxi the day of his arrest.
It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
