Action News 5's early evening broadcasts are simulcast by the following Mid-South Radio stations. These stations take the audio signal of our newscasts and rebroadcast it to their listeners.
WYPL, FM 89.3 , the radio station run by the Memphis & Shelby County Public Library and Information Center, carries an expanded Action News 5 lineup. Its primary mission is to offer programming aimed at the hearing impaired people in its service area.
WYPL simulcasts Action News 5 updates every morning at 7:26 a.m., 7:56 a.m., 8:26 a.m., and 8:56 a.m. The station also simulcasts Action News 5 at 5:00 p.m. and 6p.m., and NBC Nightly News at 5:30 p.m.
The other listed stations simulcast Action News 5 at 5:00 p.m. and/or 6:00 p.m.
